The Hair Lab Launches Direct To Consumer & Expands Portfolio

This March, The Hair Lab is launching DTC in addition to Walmart and expanding its portfolio with three leave-in conditioners customized to hair texture, and two new booster sets – UV Shield and Volume Boost – to customize hair care regimens one-step further, per the brand.

Shampoo Collection 

The Hair Lab Leave-In Conditioner Collection has three formulations.

 

Customized to hair texture (fine, medium or coarse), each leave-in conditioner provides an optimal boost of moisture to detangle, tame and enhance manageability specific to hair fiber thickness. It’s lightly scented with the brand’s signature fragrance featuring notes of mango, coconut and bamboo. Consumers are “supercharge” their formula by adding up to three of The Hair Lab doses (total of 12 to choose from) recommended for hair’s unique needs.

 

The Nourishing Leave-In Conditioner is formulated for finer textures. Hero ingredients aloe vera, hydrolyzed soy protein and quaternium-80 provides instant, long-lasting hydration without weighing down fine-textured hair. The lightweight formula helps reduce frizz and fly-aways, eases detangling to minimize breakage and improves manageability.

 

Smoothing Leave-in Conditioner is formulated for medium hair textures. Hero ingredients macadamia seed oil, hydrolyzed rice protein and quaternium-80 provide instant, long-lasting hydration to medium-textured strands. The frizz-reducing formula smooths fly-aways, eases detangling to minimize breakage and improves manageability.

 

Repairing Leave-In Conditioner is formulated for coarser hair textures. Hero ingredients moringa seed oil, hydrolyzed barley protein and mango seed butter provide instant, long-lasting hydration while minimizing breakage. The fortifying formula reduces frizz and fly-aways, eases detangling and improves manageability.

 

The Leave-In Condition Collection is vegan and free from parabens, sulfate, phthalate, mineral oil and silicone as well as cruelty-free.

UV Shield Dose Set + Volume Boost Dose Sets contain two doses.

 

Formulated to work with any of The Hair Lab products, these two new dose sets can be mixed and matched to specific hair and scalp needs. Each dose set contains two individual doses. Three individual doses can be added to each base for optimal results. All doses are fragrance-free. 

 

UV Shield Dose Set is formulated with baobab extract to defend against environmental exposure and soften strands. This protective dose set can be used to customize any of The Hair Lab bases. 

 

Volume Boost Dose Set is formulated with pea peptide to help thicken and infuse fine, flat strands. This body-enhancing dose set can be used to customize any of The Hair Lab bases. 

 

Existing Dose Sets include anti-brass, curl define, heat defense, rebuild boost, color protect, shine boost, anti-breakage, moisture boost, anti-frizz and scalp reset.

Well-Balanced Conditioner contains coconut oil, Vitamin E and panthenol to provide the ideal moisture level for medium-textured hair. This mid-weight formula detangles and improves manageability for healthy-looking hair.

 

Deep Conditioner contains shea butter, vitamin E and panthenol to provide intense nourishment for coarse-textured hair. The rich formula locks in moisture, detangles and softens strands for more manageable hair, according to the company.
